Support — HCA ARoutePilot
Thanks for using HCA ARoutePilot by HardcoreAmature. If you need help, start with the FAQs below or contact us.
Quick Start
- Open the app → it defaults to Demo mode so you can try it without hardware.
- Tap on the floor to add points; long-press & drag to draw a curve.
- Tap ▶︎ to run the path; use E-STOP to halt immediately.
- To connect a robot/bridge: Connect → Robot (WebSocket) and enter a URL like
ws://192.168.x.x:8080/ws.
Device Requirements
- iPhone with ARKit support (iOS 16+ recommended).
- For robot mode: iPhone and robot/bridge on the same network (or reachable over internet/VPN).
FAQ
Nothing happens when I press ▶︎.
Make sure you added at least two points (a visible yellow path). In robot mode, verify your WebSocket URL is reachable and correct.
“Local network permission” alert keeps appearing.
Grant local network access when prompted (Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → enable for ARoutePilot).
Tracking feels unstable.
Use a well-lit room with a textured floor. Move slowly at first to let ARKit detect planes.
Can I use this with [my robot]?
If your robot (or a bridge) speaks WebSocket and implements the simple JSON protocol (upload_path, start_run, estop, clear_path), it should work. Contact us for integration details.
