hcachess – How to Play

Welcome to hcachess! This guide will show you how to play and enjoy the app.

1. Game Overview

hcachess is a two-player chess app that lets you play matches with either virtual currency (Paper Money Mode) or real cryptocurrency (Real Money Mode).

2. Game Setup

  • Start the app and configure your game settings on the Game Settings screen.
  • Select whether you want to play in Paper Money Mode or Real Money Mode.
  • Both players must log in with their email and configure their player settings.
  • Each player selects their preferred currency (BTC, ETH, USDT, USD).
  • The bet amount is currently locked at $100 per match.

3. Starting a Match

  • After both players complete their settings, the match will begin.
  • The app follows standard chess rules.
  • The winner of the chess match wins the bet amount (virtual or real, depending on the selected mode).

4. Paper Money Mode

  • Paper Money Mode is for entertainment purposes only.
  • Paper Money winnings have no real-world value.

5. Real Money Mode

  • To play in Real Money Mode, you must connect your Kraken account using API keys.
  • Only use API keys with “Query Funds” and “Withdraw Funds” permissions.
  • Real cryptocurrency transactions are handled via your Kraken account — use caution and play responsibly.

6. Responsible Play

  • We encourage all players to play responsibly and only use funds they can afford to lose.
