HCar-Connect Privacy Policy

Summary: HCar-Connect values your privacy. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. All syncing occurs through Apple’s secure SharePlay and Group Activities system. No external servers are used.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
- No account registration or login
- No email, contact, or profile data
- No GPS or precise location tracking
- No analytics or advertising identifiers
- No usage logs tied to your identity
2. Camera and Microphone Access
Camera: Used only to display the AR view and detect flat surfaces. Images never leave your device.
Microphone: iOS may ask for permission because FaceTime includes audio during SharePlay. HCar-Connect itself does not record or store sound.
3. Local Network and SharePlay
The app uses Apple’s encrypted Group Activities framework to sync objects between you and invited participants. Data is transmitted only between devices in your SharePlay session through Apple’s secure network. No third-party servers are involved.
4. On-Device Processing
All augmented-reality processing happens on your device using Apple ARKit and RealityKit. Nothing is uploaded or stored externally.
5. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children under age 13. Since HCar-Connect does not require an account or personal details, it is safe for general use.
6. Third-Party Services
Only Apple frameworks (ARKit, RealityKit, SharePlay, Group Activities) are used. No third-party SDKs, analytics, or advertising networks are integrated.
7. Your Control
- You can reset the AR scene anytime.
- Ending SharePlay or closing the app stops all syncing.
- You can revoke Camera or Microphone access in Settings › Privacy › HCar-Connect.
8. Updates
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new effective date.
