Support — HCA ARoutePilot

Thanks for using HCA ARoutePilot by HardcoreAmature LLC. This page covers quick start, FAQs, and how to reach us.

Quick Start

  1. Launch the app — it defaults to Demo mode so you can try it without hardware.
  2. Tap the floor to add points; long-press & drag to draw a curve (yellow path).
  3. Tap ▶︎ to run the path; use E-STOP anytime to halt immediately.
  4. To connect a robot/bridge: Connect → Robot (WebSocket) and enter a URL like ws://192.168.x.x:8080/ws.

Requirements

  • iPhone with ARKit support (iOS 16+ recommended).
  • For Robot mode: iPhone and robot/bridge on the same network or reachable via VPN.

FAQ

Nothing happens when I press ▶︎.
Ensure you placed at least two points (visible yellow line). In Robot mode, verify the WebSocket URL is correct and reachable.

Local Network permission alert appears.
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and enable access for ARoutePilot.

AR tracking feels unstable.
Use good lighting and a floor with texture (not all-white). Move the device slowly for a few seconds to let ARKit detect planes.

Which robots are supported?
Any robot (or bridge) that speaks WebSocket and implements the simple JSON protocol: upload_path, start_run, estop, clear_path, and streams state with position, isRunning, batteryPercent.
