VibeTrigger turns your closest friends into a proximity-based ringtone. Record a custom “anthem” for each friend. When their phone is nearby (and they’re running VibeTrigger), your phone can play the anthem, vibrate, or both.
Works best when both people have VibeTrigger installed, Bluetooth enabled, and a saved Trigger ID. Range depends on environment (walls, crowd, phones, interference).
How it works
- Set your Trigger ID (like
@bobby). - Add friends by their Trigger ID.
- Record an anthem for each friend.
- Pick your alert: Sound, Vibration, Both, or Silent.
- When they’re nearby, VibeTrigger reacts.

Real-world example
You’re in a busy restaurant. Your friend “Ana” walks in. If Ana has VibeTrigger installed and is broadcasting her Trigger ID, your phone may detect it in-range (depending on walls/crowds). VibeTrigger matches Ana’s ID to your saved friends list and triggers your chosen alert.
Detection distance varies by environment. Expect “room / nearby” behavior, not GPS tracking.

Does it track people’s location?
No. VibeTrigger does not show another person’s GPS location.
Will it detect any phone near me?
No. It only detects VibeTrigger users broadcasting the VibeTrigger Bluetooth service.
Will it work through walls?
Sometimes. Walls, crowds, and interference can reduce range and reliability.
Is it a battery drain?
Bluetooth scanning is designed to be lightweight, but battery impact can vary by device and usage.
