This Privacy Policy explains how TrailBlue (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the TrailBlue mobile app and our website. By using TrailBlue, you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect
Location
Precise and approximate location from your device to show your live position to invited friends and to draw your blue trail. Background location is used only if you grant “Always” permission in iOS.
Identifiers
Session codes, app instance identifiers, and device identifiers (resettable). We do not collect sensitive device IDs that cannot be reset by the user.
Purchase & Subscription Data
Product identifiers, receipts, and entitlement status processed by Apple and managed in-app by RevenueCat.
Diagnostics
Crash reports and performance/usage events to improve reliability (e.g., Firebase/Google services).
How We Use Information
- Provide core features (live sharing, blue trail, join by code).
- Operate subscriptions (purchase, verify, restore).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve TrailBlue.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers to operate the app:
- Apple — In-App Purchases, receipts, subscription management.
- RevenueCat — Subscription entitlements and product status.
- Google Firebase — Real-time data, analytics, and crash reporting.
We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.
Your Choices & Controls
- Location permissions: Control at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services.
- Session sharing: You choose when to start/stop sharing; only people with your code can view it.
- Purchases: Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
- Privacy requests: Email enopenny@hardcoreamature.com to access, correct, or delete data where applicable.
Retention
Live session data is retained only for the duration of the session; limited logs may be kept briefly for reliability and abuse prevention. Purchase/entitlement records are retained as required for accounting, tax, and fraud prevention. Provider analytics/crash data follow the provider’s default retention windows.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
TrailBlue is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has used TrailBlue, contact us to remove related data.
International Transfers
We may process data on servers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.
Your Region’s Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU/UK/California), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or export your data, and to object or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will notify you in-app or on this page. Continued use of TrailBlue means you accept the updated Policy.
